SALE - Featherweight Hound Collar

I adopted an older stray Chihuahua mix who had had recent mammory surgery which a harness rubs and exacerbates inflammation in that area. My parents previously had a greyhound and used a martingale collar and I thought that would work well on my 12 pounders long neck. I like the soft padded material. I’m glad I got the XS-extra small, I was not sure ordering because was close to Small measurements too. But XS is the proper fit. I now need to find a small stretchy leash with the proper clip for easier attachment. I use a stretchy cat leash because she’s so small and the clip is inadequate for the double loop closure. I have seen single loop closing Martingale’s that would be easier, but this Goldpaw design is soft and nice materials against a dog’s neck, especially for a small dog.

We adopted a 12-year-old Toy Fox Terrier mix that is a true escape artist. We tried many harnesses, collars, leads and he was always able to get out when he wanted. When I came on your site to get a new fleece for him, I saw the Hound Collar. What a life-changing collar for us. We can now walk without fear of him backing out and running. For a delicate, older guy, we also want to make sure things are comfortable for him, and this is the softest collar we have tried. It really is a miracle collar for us.

I got this for my 9 pound chiweenie. I had been looking for one like this but could not find one small enough. This is very well constructed, light weight, martingale. Perfect!

We have silken Windhounds whose necks are very delicate. These collars are super soft, well padded, great width, but allow us to control our dogs with ease!
